  • Confirm production schedule: Determine delivery time, sample delivery time, production start time, delivery date, etc.
  • Payment terms: Clarify payment terms, usually an advance payment is required to start the project, and the remaining amount is paid before delivery.

Sample
  • According to customer needs, ODM manufacturers design the appearance of the watch (such as dial design, strap material, color, function button layout, etc.).
  • Determine the type of built-in electronic components (such as display, heart rate sensor, Bluetooth module, battery, etc.).
  • Select the appropriate battery type, charging method (such as wireless charging) and other functional modules.
  • Sample production: Make preliminary samples (including appearance and functional samples) according to the design plan. Sample production needs to ensure that the product meets customer needs and meets quality standards.
  • Sample confirmation and modification: After the customer receives the sample, it will be tested and reviewed. Customers can make modification suggestions, and ODM manufacturers will adjust the sample according to feedback until the customer is satisfied.

Production
  • Contract signing: After the sample is confirmed, the ODM manufacturer signs a formal contract with the customer. The contract specifies the product specifications, quantity, price, delivery date, payment method and other terms.
  • Advance payment: The customer usually needs to pay a part of the contract amount as a deposit to start production.
  • Production plan formulation: The ODM manufacturer formulates a detailed production plan based on customer needs and delivery date, including production schedule, quality control, packaging, etc.

Quality
  • Raw material inspection: Ensure that all raw materials (such as watch cases, glass, chips, sensors, etc.) meet quality requirements.
  • Quality monitoring during production: During the production process, real-time quality checks are carried out to ensure that the products meet customer specifications.
  • Functional testing: Functional tests are carried out on each watch, such as heart rate monitoring, Bluetooth connection, touch screen operation, etc., to ensure that all functions work properly.
  • Final inspection: Finished product inspection after production is completed to ensure that there are no defects, and the final quality inspection of the product before packaging.
Mass production and quality control
Transportation
  • ODM manufacturers design and produce packaging (such as watch boxes, manuals, warranty cards, brand logos, etc.) according to customer needs. The packaging design needs to ensure that the appearance is exquisite and in line with the customer's brand image.
  • Arrange the mode of transportation according to customer needs. Common modes of transportation include sea transportation, air transportation, express delivery, etc.
  • Determine the logistics company, transportation route and estimated transportation time to ensure on-time delivery.
  • The delivery location selected by the customer (such as port, warehouse or direct delivery to the end customer) needs to be specified in the contract.
Packaging and logistics arrangements
Acceptance
  • Delivery: The ODM manufacturer delivers the product to the customer at the agreed time.
  • Customer acceptance: The customer accepts the delivered products and confirms that the quantity, quality, packaging, etc. of the products meet the contract requirements. The acceptance process may include:
  • Check the appearance of the product (whether there are scratches, color difference, etc.).
  • Test functions (such as battery life, touch screen response, etc.).
  • Confirm whether the packaging is intact.
  • Pay the remaining amount: After the customer accepts the product, pay the remaining amount according to the contract.
